MotorThem for the PC was the first product released. MotorThem quickly calculates the Amps, VA, NEMA Starter size, OCPD (both for fuses and CB), disconnect, and conductor size. All you provide is the voltage, phase, and HP. The program does the rest. No need to look the value up in the code book and do a few calculations anymore. MotorThem can also give you the VA, OCPD, and disconnect size when you supply the Amps, such as from a HVAC device that has the MCA listed. If you input the VA, then it will return the Amps.  MotorThem will show you the calculations used and the code sections referenced when you hover over the labels with your mouse.

We have a couple of other programs in the works:

FeedThem was designed to quickly size feeders given the ampacity of the feed and a few other parameters. The interface is easy to use and a feeder can be sized with the corresponding conduit in less than 10 seconds. You can do multiple sets for larger feeds. For those in the Chicago area, the program also calculates the Chicago Service ground size that differs from the NEC. We expect to release this program in the fall of 2010.

Finally TransformThem will be our transformer sizing program. This program will pick the OCPD for both primary and secondary as well as the feeders for both. It currently includes data for GE brand dry-type transformers and gives you the dimensions for them. We expect to release this program in the winter of 2010.
